Assisting residents to get into meaningful employment, as well as making available entrepreneurial support about to how to create a business plan, a free website, how to start trading through collaborations avoiding loans and debts from the very beginning.

ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT

Helping to overcome hardship situations, including debt, poverty, benefits. Running support groups which help local women feel less isolated.

PRACTICAL SKILLS AND TRAINING

Offering a wide range of subjects such as job hunting (self-assessment, skills inventory, CV/Cover Letter, interview practice), updating skills ang learning new ones (IT – Digital, Technical, Communication, ESOL Level 2/3 fully funded courses), budgeting (how to spend wisely, lists/excel expenses, maximising resources – food surplus: how to make most of it, mending garments to make them last longer, low cost DIY projects…).

VOLUNTEERING

An opportunity to gain and learn new skills or refresh old ones. A way to increase future chances of getting employed.

CREATIVITY & WELLBEING

Promoting a healthy life style through workshops about positive affirmations, connecting with nature, gardening, crafts, art journaling, vision boards, darning or wall-hanging.
